Thank you ladies! Both cows are dry now, Vera is due Feb sometime and Lizzie is due 4/17. After we drink all we can, make cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese and butter--we can always clabber some for pigs and chickens! After an extended dry period we are looking forward to our cup overflowing!
Thank you for the answer. I hate for it to sound nosy but I am always just curious....I haven't tried any cheese but mozzarella and cottage.
I don't milk daily just when we need to so I don't accumulate much cream....I want to figure out a way to use our old milk barn and fresh cow bucket this spring.
Beautiful pictures! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
ReplyDeleteI am curious. How many cows are in milk now? and what do you do with all the milk?
Thank you ladies!
